Trust

You’re handing us your compliance trail.

That deserves a straight answer about what we access, what we store, and what we can never do. No vague assurances.

🔐

You grant access. You revoke it.

To file your eBRC we’re authorised against your IEC on the DGFT portal, signed with your DSC or Aadhaar eSign. You can deactivate us from the DGFT portal at any time, without asking us.

🇮🇳

Your data stays in India

Documents and shipment records are stored on infrastructure located in India. Your commercial information does not leave the country.

👁

Read, prepare, never send alone

We read your documents and prepare drafts. Nothing goes to your shipping line, your bank or DGFT without a human on your side approving it.

In detail

What we access, and why

Every permission exists to perform a specific step. If a step doesn’t need access, we don’t ask for it.

Your documents

Booking copies, invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, BLs and certificates are stored so we can read the fields the process needs — amounts, terms, container numbers, dates. They are encrypted at rest and in transit, and they remain yours: you can export or delete them whenever you want.

DGFT, for eBRC

DGFT’s eBRC system is designed for exactly this. We register as an API consumer against your IEC, and you authorise us from your own DGFT account with your DSC or Aadhaar eSign. That authorisation covers eBRC functions only. The moment you deactivate it in the DGFT portal, data stops flowing — it doesn’t need our involvement or approval.

Worth knowing: no eBRC can be generated until your bank has uploaded the Inward Remittance Message to DGFT. We can watch for it and prepare the mapping, but we cannot conjure it. Anyone promising otherwise is overselling.

Your buyers’ details

We hold buyer contact details to send shipment updates and payment reminders on your behalf, using your own invoice terms. We never contact your buyers about anything other than your shipments, and never use your buyer list for our own marketing.

What we never do

  • Send a document to a shipping line, bank or authority without your approval
  • Share, sell or aggregate your commercial data for anyone else’s benefit
  • Move your money — we prepare paperwork; your bank handles funds
  • Retain your data after you leave, beyond what law requires

Access inside your own company

Roles control who sees what. An executive can run shipments without seeing settlement figures; an accountant can see realisation without editing shipping instructions. Every action is logged with a name and a timestamp, so an approval can always be traced.

Being straight with you: we’re a young company building in the open. We’re not going to claim certifications we don’t yet hold. What we will do is tell you exactly how the system works, and put the revoke switch in your hands rather than ours.

Questions we’re happy to answer

If your compliance team needs specifics — retention periods, sub-processors, incident handling — ask us directly. We’d rather have that conversation before you sign up than after.

Put one real shipment through it.

Take the last container you sent, load it in, and see how many stages you were carrying in your head.
