About us

Built by people who actually ship containers.

ExportEase came out of a working export business, not a whiteboard. Every stage in the software exists because someone was tracking it by hand first.

The origin

A spreadsheet that kept growing

Anyone running an export desk knows the feeling. The shipment leaves, and then the real work starts — chasing the rail-out, approving the draft BL, telling the buyer the vessel sailed, asking for payment, assembling bank documents, waiting on the BRC, wondering why the IGST refund hasn’t come.

All of it lived in one person’s head, backed by a spreadsheet that kept growing columns. When that person took leave, things slipped. When things slipped, refunds got stuck and deadlines got close.

We built the first version for ourselves because there was nothing that followed the whole journey — from the booking copy to the closed BRC — in the way an Indian exporter actually works. It turned out every exporter we described it to wanted the same thing.

Vistara Soft Tech Pvt. Ltd. was set up to build it properly and make it available to exporters everywhere, not just to us.

What we believe

Four things we build against.

01

Compliance shouldn’t need a specialist

A small exporter can’t hire a compliance manager. Software should close that gap, not widen it.

02

The tool should do the remembering

Deadlines are a tracking problem, not a knowledge problem. Nobody should carry twelve stages in their head.

03

Interrupt only when it matters

An alert for everything is an alert for nothing. We stay quiet unless something genuinely needs a person.

04

Price it so the smallest exporter can start

That’s why the free plan is a real product and not a countdown to a sales call.

Where we’re going

Compliance that closes itself

India crossed $860 billion in exports in FY 2025-26. The paperwork behind that number still moves largely by memory, email and WhatsApp. We think the gap between a shipment leaving and money safely realised should be handled by software — quietly, correctly, and cheaply enough that it’s never the reason a small exporter stays small.
